Vadakara Muncipality

Vadakara is a small coastal town in Kozhikode district, 48 km from Kozhikode city. NH17 and Konkan Railway passes through this Municipality. Vadakara is the land of Kalarippayattu (Martial Arts). This is the land where warriors like Thacholi Othenan once lived. The famous Lokanarkavu temple is 2 km away from the city.
